January!
I had a good month of reading in January. I didn't really read anything I hated, which is always a good sign. I read 13 books; 4 Y.A, 5 Graphic Novels and 4 "adult" fiction. Here's my list:
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight-Jennifer E Smith
V For Vendetta-Alan Moore
5 Very Good Reasons to Punch a Dolphin in the Mouth and Other Useful Guides-The Oatmeal
Unsticky-Sarra Manning
The Complete Maus-Art Spiegelman
Sing Me To Sleep-Angela Morrison
Flowers In The Attic-VC Andrews(RE-READ)
The Fault In Our Stars-John Green
Petals On The Wind-VC Andrews(RE-READ)
The Language of Flowers-Vanessa Diffenbaugh
Epic Fail-Claire LaZebnik
Friends With Boys-Faith Erin Hicks
Baby's In Black-Arne Bellstorf
My favourites of the month were:
Flowers In The Attic and Petals On The Wind(as they've been favourites for a long time)
The Complete Maus(just AMAZING)
The Fault In Our Stars(LOVED it)
V For Vendetta(GLORIOUS!)
Friends With Boys(Entertaining)
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight(Simple and sweet)
5 Very Good Reasons....(Hilarious)
Baby's In Black(Striking)
The most disappointing books were:
Unsticky(an entertaining read but I had issues with it)
Sing Me To Sleep(not completely awful but not as good as I hoped)
The Language of Flowers(it was okay but I expected more, somehow)
Epic Fail(I found this very bland)
I've been reading a lot more "adult fiction" lately. I'm trying to read at least one adult book for every Y.A book I read. It seems to be working and I'm liking it, although it's a bit more challenging as most adult fiction are longer than Y.A. But I am liking the challenge.
What did you read in January?

Book Haul
This is the book haul where I look creepy.
Bought this today at a charity shop for 50p. It's been abused(yellowed pages, general bad shape, sticker on it, etc..) but I bought it because it was pretty cheap and I eventually want to read this, just because of the hype.
Added this to my wishlist a couple of months ago. I saw it in a charity shop for £1. £1! I was so excited when I saw it there. Very pleased.
I got this on readitswapit. It was also on my wish list. I traded a book I didn't like for it. Awesomeeee. I think it's an uncorrected reader proof.
Another swap on readitswapit. Traded Epic Fail for it. Very excited as this has been on my wishlist for quite a while. It looks EPICCC.
I saw this at the bookstore a couple of months ago and put it on my wishlist because the front cover kinda compares it to David Nicholls One Day. And I loved One Day so I thought I'd keep an eye out for a cheap copy. I found this in a charity shop for £1.75.
That is my haul from the last few weeks. Not bad.
All together I spent
£1 + £1.75 + 50p=£3.25 + £4.50(RiSi shipping)=£7.75
£7.75 for five books and all of them had been ones I'd wanted to read or been curious about.
What did you guys get lately?
